People really don't need that much protein in their diets unless they are really active in sports or weight training. 

As for myself, I probably only need around 120 grams a day of protein a day at a weight between 150-160 LBS for some simple muscle gains.

So why do I need to buy some protein supplements? 

Well, my main goal is to start eating less meat these days because its packed with lots of cholesterol which can put havoc to your heart and health. 

My new go to protein supplement is the the Julian Bakery "Paleo Thin" made with non-gmo egg whites. 

If you are looking for a simple great tasting protein supplement, I would go with this one. It has no artificial ingredients and tastes really good.
