 As many of you all already know, I like to test new and strange things that can improve my overall health... especially focusing on longevity. 💉 🏥 Most supplements are just plain gimmicks these days... taking all your hard earned money. However, I do like to test them out from time to time. ⏰ Just remember, no magic pills or lotions will beats out a healthy lifestyle such as eating good, working out, getting enough rest and having a positive attitude in life. 💁♂️ So what is this new thing called NAD+? *Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide is a cofactor that is central to metabolism. Found in all living cells, NAD is called a dinucleotide because it consists of two nucleotides joined through their phosphate groups. One nucleotide contains an adenine nucleobase and the other nicotinamide.* [Source Wikipedia](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicotinamide_adenine_dinucleotide) WTH, what the hell does that mean? 😂 Some studies have suggested that NAD+ can battles aging by activating anti-aging enzymes called sirtuins. These so called "Sirtuins" can contribute to longevity by favorably controlling gene expression. NAD+ levels drop as we get older and thats not really a good thing. In other words, I'm going to start taking this stuff!! 🙋♂️ Let's see what happens in the next 90 days and I'll be sure to come back letting you all know what the results were. 🧪️ Maybe a miracle will happen and start looking 10 years younger!
