Almost Lost My Phone... Now What? (Part 1)

It looks like the Universe didn't want me to go back to school soon due to what happened yesterday. Yesterday, I had already made the mind that I would be leaving home and going back to school. I had packed some of my bags and told my parents that I would be going yesterday.

My elder brother was around yesterday and the day before, and I am glad that we got to spend some of the time together during my stay at home. My brother is taking post-graduate examinations and needed to leave on time yesterday so that he can get to the examination hall before 9am. While I was busy setting up and preparing my belongings to take with me back to school, my brother approached me, requesting that I help him clean his vehicle, so that it will not be a cause of delay for him before he leaves.

I reasoned with him and I decided to help him clean his car. I don't want him to be late and I also want him to just leave the house immediately after he has finished freshening up and is ready to go for his examinations. Before I started cleaning my brother's car, I dropped my phone in his car so that water wouldn't touch it or it wouldn't get into the water. I am currently using just one phone at the moment. So it was best if I kept it well. When I was done cleaning my brother's car, I went to do that for my dad as well.

Immediately after my brother was done, he left for his examinations in his car. I had already forgotten that I left my phone in my brother's car. I was already looking for it after my brother had left and was afraid that I didn't remove it from my brother's car. I had to call my brother immediately with my dad's phone but he said it was not in his car (obviously which I know he didn't check well because he was driving).

Then I decided to call my line, which I could not hear ringing in the house at all. few seconds later, I had a return call from my brother saying that it was in the car and the only way I can collect it is after he is done with his first paper. He doesn't have a plan to come back home, as he would be going straight to his work place from there.

I was happy that at least I know my phone is safe but it totally ruined my plans of following my dad to the car pack that will take me to school. I could not even go with my dad again so I had to cancel my travelling for the day and make use of that day to collect my phone back.

**...Almost Misplaced Something Important...**

When my brother was done with his first paper, I had to make sure I got to him early to collect my phone and on my way back, I almost misplaced something that would have had huge financial implications on me. And what is that? My Oraimo Wi-Fi Hotspot.

I placed it in my back pocket after collecting my phone from my brother, and then I took the next tricycle back to the school gate. As I got down from the school gate, I felt empty and I checked my pocket. I noticed that my Oraimo Wi-Fi was not in my pocket. Then it got me wondering, did I take it along with me or did I leave it at home?

I had a strong feeling that the Wi-Fi was with me and that I should not go home to confirm instead, I should find the tricycle that I entered and ask the man if he saw anything in his tricycle. Then I looked around and could not find the tricycle that carried me. The man had left.

At that moment, I was in the middle of being a mental healthy man and someone who was about to run mad. What was going through my mind was how will I find this tricycle that took me. I don't even know the number that was assigned to it; as I figured that every tricycle in the school was given a special number.

I could not just leave without finding my Wi-Fi because the cost of that Wi-Fi is #48,000 naira, which is approximately $34, while the sim card in it has over 300 GB of data in it. So it was very important for me to find it.

Now the question is, was I able to find it or not 😩? I will tell you the remaining story tomorrow.
