Last month we launched a few initiatives into Steemit with great success connecting the community! Not the least of which, we already saw tons of interactivity on our curation trail #stateofthearts. Here we continue to feature, promote, and connect more and more artists and connoisseurs of the arts.

Having received a lot of direct correspondence about the need for artists and users to communicate with each other, get feedback for their projects, discuss how to improve, and find more active artists on SteemIt to follow, etc., we came together to create a discord channel for artists and the community. 

<h1> The SOA Discord channel will include: </h1>
- <h2>Critiques Corner</h2> Obtain live feedback while working on art. Chat with other Steemians about your work, their work, ask questions, etc. 
- <h2>Lounge Room</h2> Hang out and draw, mingle with other artists! Grow the community! As all of us are early adopters here on steemit, let's create the <b>GREATEST</b> arts community on social media
- <h2>Gaming Room</h2> Not all business! Hang out play some games with fellow creatives have a good time! Trying to develop a community of creatives and users alike, kick back, and get to know each other. 
- <h2>Art Gallery</h2> Share your work directly on the discord in the art gallery channel! We love all forms of creativity and want to give artists as many opportunities to display their artwork and have it noticed!
- <h2> More to come! </h2> As a growing project, we look for feedback, ideas and ways to improve and support the community. So please be vocal!
