Hey, Stars!

Ten days ago, we received a post from the creators about the future of the Rising Star Game. The post was positive enough, but it clearly didn't work as intended. Apparently I don't understand something...

If I remember correctly, this is the 3rd time in a row that we've gotten a drop in Rising Star asset prices, specifically after official updates or official statements from the creators. An enviable consistency that we'd like to reverse. Otherwise, we will lose play2earn status. 😅 But judging by the comments under [post](https://ecency.com/hive-195370/@risingstargame/the-future-of-rising-star), it doesn't bother regular players much. Maybe I'm missing something again...

In any case, we need to work with what we have, so let's wait a little longer. And hopefully the next game update will be inspiring enough that old players will come back. And new ones will be in line to come in and buy any assets of the game. 😜


Now on to the numbers! My last report was 2 weeks ago. Let's see what those 2 weeks brought us. Let's go!

## <center>STARBITS & STARPRO prices</center>

I want to figure out what I'm missing. That's why I highlighted with a vertical line the time of the official Rising Star post on the STARBITS and STARPRO charts. Obviously, still something didn't please the individual players and the prices of both tokens changed dramatically in depreciation rate or direction.

OK, let's see what was in that very post.⬇️

>We get a lot of people telling us that we need to reduce the STARBITS rewards and increase the pack prices. I'm sorry but I do not believe this will solve anything. In fact this will make the game less attractive for new players and that is not what we want.

>I am 100% committed to our solution of using STARPRO as outlined above. Could I be wrong? Sure! But I think it has a better chance of working in the long run than anything else I have seen suggested or we can think of.

That's what I think. The terrible inflation of STARBITS was visible to the naked eye, but STARPRO has partially offset that. Plus, players who stay in the game still spend their tokens to buy cards. But if a token gets cheaper, a lot of people get discouraged. If this isn't play2earn more, we need upgrades. To make it a desirable pay2play. 😜<sup>(I'm kidding, of course, but it makes me a little sad)</sup>

The positive side of all this is that we've dropped some weak hands again. The only ones left in the game are those who are loyal and love the game. As long as we're here, there's still hope!

During that time, I reached level 126 and completed 7,099 missions. I have 23,640 regular fans.

Right now I'm getting about 11,000 STARBITS every day by completing missions. My progress on rewards is about 1000 STARBITs in two weeks. You can see my previous posts here:⬇️

Here I'm trying to figure out if it's possible to outrun some players in the rankings by reinvesting the STARBITS I earned. I think I'm succeeding, but now I'm stuck in the top 400 again. So far, I'm 329th in the Rising Star rankings.

## <center>Conclusion</center>

Surprisingly we haven't lost as many active players in that time as I thought we had. But it's still about 100 in 2 weeks. Maybe a little less. Right now it's 4,572. I'm still waiting for us to stop the drop in that number. It's obvious now that even the remaining players aren't just playing for the game anyway. The idea of getting some Hive for HP is very tempting. After all, Hive is still Five! And if the assets keep dropping in value, you can re-enter for cheaper at any time. At this point, it's the most obvious way to try to catch up with at least some of the whales that have been playing for 2+ years...

Hive you went up in price to $0.40, which further impacted the drop in token price. Obviously, we need to improve our tokenomics, combustion methods and attract new players. In other words, we need to change something inside the game so that the outside world only helps us, not hinders our development. We still need updates.

The only thought I can think of is that we need to move all purchases to STARPRO so that people burn their STARBITS in huge volumes. Or do STARPRO purchases at a huge discount. STARBITS inflation has to be stopped at all costs. Or we'll have to do denomination so we don't get lost in the number of those digits after the decimal point in exchange rates. Or in the number of digits when buying just one common card. 😜
