<h3>What is Mooncoin?</h3>
Mooncoin claims to be fast, simple, reliable, and transparent. It was created to be "people-oriented" while being fair.

This does not seem to be an "anonymous" coin like others that are getting popular. On their website they say Mooncoin is.. 
>Not overhyped, not for criminals.

They also state that Mooncoin is great for micropayments. It has a limited total supply, based on average distance from the Earth to the Moon. (Which is 385,000,000,000 so i assume they are measuring by kilometers.)

<h3>MoonWord</h3>
They use a "blockchain recordkeeping" programming language called MoonWord.

>Technical specifications make Mooncoin ideal for directly recording informational transactions onto blockchain (fast block time, lightweight blockchain, low transaction fees and high circulation supply).

<h3>Smart Likes</h3>
They also have a decentralized platform called Smart Likes, which sounds kind of like Steemit.

They state you can "Like and earn" and monetize your likes by being the first to like something. 

> Smart likes aim to reshape investing. Instead of investing, researching companies and markets, you can just like a thing and earn, if other people like what you have liked.

<h3>Conclusion</h3>
All in all Mooncoin sounds like a great project, and there is plenty of room for these types of projects. Steemit is dominating the blockchain blogging market, and there are others coming that claim to be "blockchain social networks" as well so I'm excited to see what we all create!
