<h3>Steemit Marketing is growing, the expansion is impressive as dozens of "Steem Ninjas" and  "Steem Ambassadors" has taken it upon themselves to empower citizens of their respective regions, a gesture greatly appreciated as things looks smooth to reach the 1 Million users mark of the Steemit.</h3>

<h3>But, this new comers needs fostering; what Mechanism is put in place for them to stay on and not just signup like many other social media platform out here without engagements?</h3>

<center><h1>Reasons for Steem-Lagos Weekly Giveaways</h1></center>

<h3>_**Come for the money stay for the Community is the slogan, but it takes collective efforts to make this individuals stay put hence @steem-lagos always encourage and motivate some of this new users on weekly basis.**_</h3>


<h3>For this reasons as stated, @steem-lagos crew had established a Giveaway for the past 19 weeks to engage newbies and encourage them to Steem-On and never despair; one of the hurdles of Minnows in the community is staying motivated and by getting some healthy supports from other users. So we implemented this contest to put a surprise smile on any willing newbie faces who had decided to enter the weekly contest. </h3>

<h3>Our aim was; _**"If a newbie can not get a fat upvote from us @steem-lagos ; we sure could fatten your wallet"**_. This and a couple more was our objective for this weekly bounty sharing.</h3>

<h3>Creating a fair playground with no sentiments for selecting weekly winners is what we do in the weekly screening of entries, anyone/everyone is a winner provided your entry is valid which puts you in a fair chance to win. Even though we had no sponsors, we had solely depended on the upvotes  from several individuals who had faith in us and our quest.</h3>

<h3>As our user base grows, we need more of this user encouraging gestures to make newbies/rookies stay worth a while in the community. This is a 2018 Challenge for many of us who had been here for a while and had gotten or own fair share of Steem; Put a smile on a newbie's face and encourage them to stay on the platform!</h3>
