The garbage picker in our locality always carry, two box with him. One is in Green and other one is Blue. This is recent government initiative to educate citizen about waste management. Green and blue dustbins are used for separate waste disposal to facilitate efficient waste management, with green bins typically for biodegradable waste (like food scraps and yard waste) and blue bins for non-biodegradable, recyclable materials (like plastics, glass, and paper). Recycling process is in high demand and the government is making sure not to leave any stone unturned.

The government wants the people to dispose of their garbage in differrnt boxes so that garbage could be recycled and brought to in use. Recycling is trending due to growing environmental awareness, the need to conserve resources, and the emergence of sustainable practices in businesses and consumer preferences. Ever since the world forum has taken steps for environment protection and reduce global warming, initiative like this were alwsys brought in for the people. They know the more they educate the citizen the more easy it gets in controlling the environmental degradation. 

People should be aware of the various benefits and how recycling materials can helps is different ways. Recycling helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions associated with resource extraction, manufacturing, and waste disposal, contributing to efforts to combat climate change. Recycling diverts materials from landfills, minimizing the environmental impact of waste disposal, including pollution and greenhouse gas emissions from decomposition. Here are some of the recyclcing examples and how those were impacting the economy on differrnt ways.

- *There is a growing demand for recycled plastics, particularly rPET (recycled polyethylene terephthalate), used in packaging, textiles, and other products.* 

- *Recycling of electronic waste (e-waste) is gaining importance, with companies developing technologies to recover valuable materials from discarded electronics.* 

- *Recycled materials are increasingly used in construction, such as insulation panels, roofing tiles, and bricks.*

India's recycling system is largely informal and involves ragpickers sorting waste, which is then sold to dealers who supply it to recycling plants, with about majority percentage of plastic waste being recycled. However, the system faces challenges including inefficient waste segregation and contamination of recyclables. A major challenge is the lack of proper waste segregation at the source, leading to contamination of recyclable materials. Contamination of recyclables with non-recyclable materials reduces the quality of the recycled output. India's recycling capacity is not commensurate with the levels of waste generated, and there is a need for better infrastructure and technology. 

But mere depending upon the government for all the initiative does bot going to work. Every individuals should educate themselves and take steps for recycle promotion. Individuals contribute to recycling by reducing waste through practices like reusing items, buying products with minimal packaging, and properly sorting recyclable materials. They can also support recycling efforts by choosing businesses that prioritize sustainability and educating others about the importance of recycling. 


I try my best to reduce the wastages whenever be possible. At least contributing a little towards better tomorrow.
