Hey Steem,

I just wanted to share my experience with [hitbtc](https://hitbtc.com/?ref_id=5a343e9ec66dd). This exchange has a very vast range of coins, and facilitate some obscure coins I trade in. Hitbtc is a true exchange in that orders are posted and fullfilled bye traders. The exchange facilitates posting and trades but essentially holds no coins itself.

The exchange mainly operates between 3 primary coins against the rest of the field, these being BTC, ETH and USDT and all trades with other coins go through these coins. The exchange is very versitile thpugh as you can actually deposit any crypto and withdraw any crypto!

This option becomes quite usfull with so many new coins being released and other coins fading into obscurity. So that new coin your exchange doesnt carry might be listed on [hitbtc](https://hitbtc.com/?ref_id=5a343e9ec66dd) so you can get it before it booms. Or maybe you have  stash of ico tokens stuck in a ETH wallet that you cant liquidate for those huge gains?...

ps. I dont trust any exchange with holding investments and suggest the use of cold storage wallets for all coins
