I have been seeing posts and tweets about ONO, a fair amount of which seem to be the "hype" variety. I have read into it some and it sounds like an interesting idea and that they want to take steps to keep bad actors from the system.

I will often try out news things/systems but first and foremost I am always a cynic. Now I dont even mean to knock what they have planned at all because I could see how for some it may be a great place. The thing that I ponder for myself is "Do I really want to give them my ID?" 

I could be wrong but I think that ID is required and please correct me if I am. I know there are parts of the system that have not been finalized that makes me have questions.

Do I see myself giving my ID to a startup? I do not see how they will keep those secure and in this day and age I dont even know if its possible to. With just someones ID I can think of lots of scenarios for harm so it makes me question that aspect already.

Does anyone know the answer to the question if they require ID or have any other questions about their plans? 

While I enjoy the world changing hype posts, I often find the devil is in the details.
