The first cryptocurrency created in 2008 was bitcoin. After that a lots of cryptocurrency created. Currently about 2000 cryptocurrencies are in the market, Litecoin is one of them. There are some difference between bitcoin and litecoin, here I will make some point about that.

* Litecoin network can create new block in every 2.5 minutes where bitcoin network takes 10 minutes to create a new block.
* Total number of litecoin is expected to be 84 millions, but number of bitcoin is 21 millions.
* Transaction speed for bitcoin is slower than litecoin. 
* Litecoin mining is possible with low configured pc or laptop, where bitcoin needs high configured machine to make mining profitable.
* Litecoin can make high amount of transaction than bitcoin at a time.
