0.000 HBDUpdates on activities of Team Ghana, unity in diversity; Week 01
This is week one of the weekly updates of the activities of Team Ghana which will come your way every Sunday. This reportage is meant to ensure that the entire Steemit community including the steemitghana membership can easily track what the Ghana community has been up to in the course of the week. This is necessary to keep the sub groups interested in the activities of the others thereby ensuring unity in diversity. I will start with notably the biggest event which was the Steemit Guest Party (SGP) organized by the Kumasi group which is meant to take steem-promo to a whole new level. Each Steemian attending the party is obliged to bring a non-steemian invitee (guest). A discussion is then held over food and drinks which is intended to lieu the invitees to join the platform, encourage the newbies to keep working hard and also provide tools and information needed to progress on the platform through a mentor-ship scheme powered by the community members. This was the first of the program which is scheduled to take place once every month. Taken at the SGP event in Kumasi Team Tamale was represented by @kshemen, @ehmkannde and @tj4real who spoke on What is Steemit and why should you join the platform. He spoke using his personal experiences and this made his presentation practical for everyone including the invitees. Members of team tamale from left, @tj4real, @ehmkannde, @mcsamm (host) and @kshemen @mcsamm was the emcee for the event coordinating and giving direction to a decentralized discussion full of rich information. @anaman was the second to speak, covering the topic on the currency of the steem blockchain and ways to make use of the opportunity in the most efficient manner. He ended up speaking the local dialect to aid understanding and it was all fun and fact filled. @collinz ended the formal session of the event with a powerful presentation on the two most important aspects of Steemit to consider growing and these were 'reputation' and 'Steem power'. He explained both terms and why that need to keep it growing. While team Kumasi was joined by team Tamale to undertake this event, team Sunyani and Accra were also busy with promotional activities. Team Accra ran a promotion at the Irish pub in East Legon. Check the DTube video [Here](https://d.tube/#!/v/richforever/jid9kodn) for details of what team Accra was upto. Team Sunyani, led by @kwakumax also continued with the promotional activity they started last week. <center> This is a summary of what Team Ghana has been doing during the week and this shall continue in the weeks to come. If you find the activities of this team useful please support us by resteeming and leaving suggestions behind for the membership in the comments section. Thank you.</center> Compiled by @ehmkannde
