**Introduction:** Hi, my name is Tino. I like meeting new people, swimming in the ocean and sports. I've read some amazing posts on steemit in the last few weeks and look forward to contributing. I studied Psychology at undergraduate and Neuroscience at postgraduate levels, so will inevitably be boring some of you with these topics. My postgrad was in Amsterdam, I enjoyed the nightlife more than studying lol. **Muay Thai** The most exciting time in my life was when I travelled to Thailand, learnt and competed at Muay Thai stadiums. Someday I will go back and experience that again. Here's a cool picture of me head kicking someone lol. **Scientific Interests** During my Psych undergrad, my favourite topic was Neurobiology, I picked modules which coincided with this interest. My dissertation choice was of course completely different. I struck up a friendship with one of my lecturers and his field was male perspectives of feminist Psychology. The topic was interesting and I liked the idea of my friend marking my work lol. I wrote a paper on how 'social dominance correlated with a mans need for muscle dysphoria'. It was a hit and was published in an academic journal. After that I decided to go onto a Mres programme. Amsterdam had always appealed to me, my youth had been spent smoking hippie cigarettes and even though every visit to the city was smoky remnant, unregistered by my short-term memory I wanted to live there. I enrolled in a programme at one of the cities prestigious institutions pack my bags and headed for the airport. My first week in the city was spent as the only person in a large tower block style student accommodation. My excitement had sent me their early and with no one around I was lost in cycle of tinder dates and alcoholic beverages. Anyway, my academic take away from the experience was that I was not interested in spending my time prodding animals or measuring brain waves and I left to decide what to do with my life! I will write an article about a topic of great interest to me which is -Dementia pugilistica, why it is difficult to diagnose and how it mimics the biological markers and behavioural patterns of Alzheimers (Be ready for that guys-its going to be a doozey lol) I currently live between Cyprus and London. **Conclusion** I've lived in Thailand, Wales, London, Cyprus and Bali. My wanderlust is never ending, may it long continue. Having lived and traveled to places far and wide I am hoping I can give a varied account of myself in future posts. Follow me @steemith :)
