More Recycled Items I've Personally Saved & Sold For $1,060 - (Roughly 100 Pounds Here) It's Your Turn To Chip In
Helping our environment is critical. I feel that so many acknowledge this, but become relatively apathetic when the rest of their priorities are weighed in.

I hope that consistently posting on this will change some minds over time. It's the best I can do.

We can acquire all of the money and crypto in the world, and build amazing careers to retire early, but this won't do much good if our land, air and water are all a toxic/polluted mess. Much like with crypto, please think FORWARD to the inevitable.

If you don't think you can _ever_ find household items around your areas of residence like I do (I literally trip on them daily), please try to reuse or resell what you have before you jump to tossing it out. It's such a simple thing we can do in mass to reduce the amount of unnecessary waste our local sanitation departments and/or environment has to absorb for our convenience.

Congratulations to @momijiscrypto for their [recent finds](https://steemit.com/upcycling/@momijiscrypto/trying-to-get-into-upcycling-bring-on-the-laptops) after getting inspired by my post, which got picked up by the @ocd curation team. Great job!

After almost TWO years of regularly posting on this topic to lead the way, this is the _second_ person who's posted about their finds as a result of my mission. @rmsbodybuilding was the other who salvaged two large working audio monitor speakers from his neighborhood curbs.

We really could use more caring people like this who take action, even if it's just a first step.

The income and upvotes here are nice, but the true reward is the volume and weight saved from waste, which is then not perpetuated in society when consumers demand brand new items.

Please take one small step forward and keep your eye out for things you can save from unnecessary waste (even if it's just a part of something you come across). It all adds up and it's for everyone's sake.

Sales prices are revenue before any applicable fees or shipping.

Again, it's not always about the lucrative finds. It's about each and every item not being wasted and now in the hands of people who needed them (won't need to buy a new one).

Add this up in the thousands of items I've saved in this fashion (and shipped in recycled packaging), and it makes a nice dent.

Let me know if you have any questions or could use some advice. I'm happy to help you value something if you need help.

Thanks for your support,
