Restarting The Fitness Fire - The First Step To Getting Back To My Daily Workouts
I've barely worked out since my Mom's accident on May 15th. After 158 consecutive days (157 personal workouts), I halted my daily fitness challenge because I needed to be completely focused on someone else for a while. It felt selfish to do something for myself.

I've played in my baseball games and walked a lot, but haven't touched ANY weights from May 15th until a few days ago. It felt like a mental block. I'm having my best offensive and defensive baseball season in ages (likely from my prior workouts), but roughly 5 weeks off from the weights is enough. It'll be one step at a time, but the fire is starting up again. 15 reps one day this week, 30 the next day, and now 100 today...

Daily Challenge Completed: 100 reps
35 Bar Shoulder Presses - 75 pounds
30 Bar Trap Raises - 75 pounds
20 Back Bar Rows - 75 pounds
15 Bicep Bar Curls - 75 pounds

The reps were hard. I've lost some strength and endurance. I'm not ready to relaunch my fitness challenge, but I'm starting to gear up. To the fitness challenge fans, stay tuned.
