The granddaughter is a huge Shawn Mendes fan so we agreed to let her go to a concert. I went along as chaperone.

I will confess, I wasn't looking forward to it.  The idea of spending a couple of hours in an arena full of screaming, star struck, 14 year old girls didn't hold much appeal for me.  I was pleasantly surprised.  Both Shawn Mendes, and the opening act, Charlie Puth, demonstrated genuine musical talent.  The audience loved the songs and the performance and everybody had a great time.   I was especially impressed by the lighting and stage effects during Shawn Mendes' set.  The granddaughter loved it and I enjoyed every bit of the show along with her.
