This #Inktober entry may require some explanation. I do think they could have gone more varied with the prompts. We've had roasted and now scorched. Later there's chop and slice. There terms could mean similar things, but are open to interpretation. Anyway, I just saw [this post](/weeknotes/@lloyddavis/weeknotes-181019) by @lloyddavis featuring a carrot top he made into a face with some peppercorns. That got me thinking about how some cooking involves scorching vegetables with a blowtorch. Or is that searing? I really don't know. Before I knew it this came out where Lloyd's carrot is being tortured. I've heard it said that a vegetable is still alive if you eat it raw, but as it has no brain I don't think that can be considered cruel.
