Is this a new thing? Ned's latest post is pinned to the top of my feed. Its easy for posts to get lost in the flood and Steemit could do with a way to make sure users see certain posts. Do you see this if you don't follow @ned?

I expect this feature will get a mention in the new daily [State of Steem](https://steemit.com/steem/@pennsif/sosdailynewsallyouneedtoknowaboutthestateofsteem5december2018-f4yt4kmpkq) post by @pennsif. There's lots going on despite a general fall in activity linked to the low Steem price. People are looking at ways to improve onboarding new users and generally making their experience better. 

I've had issues posting this as the O2 mobile data hasn't been working all day. It's generally reliable and we just take it for granted these days. It's actually only in the last year or so that I have relied on mobile data as I had WiFi at work and wasn't going to be reading stuff when I was driving there. My current workplace doesn't provide WiFi for personal use. There is a lot of public WiFi these days and it's sometimes available on the train. How did we manage without a constant connection?
