We Steemit users are probably fairly thinly spread across the world at the moment, although there may be clumps in some cities. I've not found evidence of any others in the small town of [Arlesey](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arlesey) where I live. I don't think I've even any obviously from the county of Bedfordshire, but then it is a small county.  I have been spreading word of this cutting edge social blogging site, but have had limited success in getting people to sign up. I'm mainly aiming at those who are either geeky or who already have a strong social media presence. I know it's still in beta, but we need some more pioneers who will be able to bring in many more as it develops. The post title was inspired by this. I know of several 'gays' in our village.
