I don't expect to get rich from playing around with cryptocurrency faucets. Even if you were doing it all full time you would struggle to make dollars each day. I just treat them as giving me something to play with and, potenitally, as a little extra income in the long run.

I've been putting what I make into cloud mining on [Eobot](https://www.eobot.com/user/513333). That just mined me another Steem, but that takes a couple of weeks. If you just use their faucet it would take about a month to get 1 Steem. You can lease the cloud mining for five years and it will take about 20 months to pay back what you paid in. I'm just happy to see it ticking away.

I have a couple of referrals on [Moondoge](http://moondoge.co.in/?ref=8664b36d5124) that are earning me enough to cash out a few cents' worth each week. You need to have at least 100 Doge. I'm not using the faucet so much myself now. If I visit a couple of times each week I can get 10+ Doge each time.

@nikflossus has got me thinking about what I'm actually getting from [Grantcoin](http://www.grantcoin.org/get-grantcoin/basic-income/?referral-code=ej74g43dgi). They allocate me 1024 'units' each day, but it's not clear what they are units of. If it's really Grantcoin then it's worth about 50c, but that seems very generous. I've referred at least one person, but I don't seem to get any extra for that. I've seen elsewhere that Grantcoin is allocated monthly, so maybe I'll get with the bonus some time.

[WowApp](https://www.wowapp.com/w/steevc/Steve-Clark) is not really a cryptocurrency, but this messaging app pays you in their own currency for using it and seeing ads. I have very few active referrals there, so I only make a couple of cents per month.

By far my biggest income is here on Steemit. I may a couple of Steem each week from curation, but far more from my posts. It might be enough to buy me a coffee/beer each day if I were withdrawing it, but I'll just power it up for now. I believe that when Steemit goes viral the Steem price will rocket and I'll have a nice little nestegg here. I'm just keeping a few Steem Dollars in savings to use for buying stuff. I'm happy to pay for music and art. It's also for contributions to my guitar pick collection.
