Morning Run: Christmas eve eve
I just finished a 7.167km running that lasted about 0hh:39mm:5ss !

Yesterday was really cold with a hard frost, but it warmed up a bit today. I have finished work for the year and turned off my alarm, so I slept a bit longer. I still wanted to run before breakfast.

I tried for a tempo run this time, so tried to keep the pace up once I got going. I did pretty well up the hill to the war memorial and then down House Lane, but did not beat my best for that segment. I kept pushing all the way to Stotfold and then eased off a little as I turned back.

I was still averaging under 5:30min/km and I am pretty happy with that. I will keep working on speed into next year in hope of improvement.

There is still a week to run (as it were) this year and I will try to fit in a fair bit. It is too tempting to sit around eating, so I need to do something to balance things out. I will not beat my best yearly total, but then I did have some illness and injury. I am pretty happy with how it is going generally.

Have a great Christmas.
