 I feel like the community needs some motivation. Investing and trading aren't for weak people. You gotta have steal balls to be in this market. Prices are for the most part driven by psychology and psychology has taken over the past few days. This is what I think is happening: The crypto market has been doing amazingly well since ever becoming mainstream in 2015-2016 and kept going more, more and more. As BTC hit 20k, XRP faced a crazy rally, ETH, ETC, DASH and pratically every other major currency have hit ATHs, huge level of attention has been driven to the market by the mass medias. One could think that mass media is good as it brings in many investors and consequently much more money. In that is the case indeed, yet those people aren't prepared for corrections and recessions. Those people think they can get rich overnight. At this time, when blockchain and cryptocurrencies are realtively new and actually hard to understand, mass media isn't good at all. I've heard friends (who've I alerted quite some time ago to get in and dind't), family members, even my gardener, talk about the cryptospace as they were decade long time investors. Overtalking shit indeed. People got in as it was easy to make money in this market. That's ignorance. They could have at least studied the market and the basics of investing befor throwing their money in yet mass media is who I blame the most. They wouldn't have invested if the news of bitcoin hitting 20k wasn't so appealing for news medias who didn't even care of educating people on the technology that drives it. "wow, fucking bitcoin is at 20k, let me throw in couple thousand dollas so I can get rich overnight" Well now those same people are facing fear. They are panic selling. Anyway guys, as I said at the top of this post, you have to have steal balls. Stop panic selling, take a break and enjoy life. Market will recover.
