 Hot and humid to today. Almost 90F and high humidity. So we decided to see if it was cooler on the lake.  There is a bald eagles nest across the lake and we had been wanting to check it out. The nest is barely visible in this photo. We didn't take a good zoom out on the water.  We saw one of the parents sitting in a tree watching the nest and one of the babies occasionally poking its head up and even stretching its wings. Wings with out flight feathers. There is a camera on the nest and supposedly three babies. The camera feed is private 🙁  The view of the lake is always fun from this perspective. Storm clouds were threatening on the horizon but never really made it to the lake.  The shore is so green this time of year.  There is also a nesting pair of loons on an island in the lake. We didn't have binoculars. We circled the island but the nest is well hidden and there is a no-go zone close to the island. Fun outing even if photography could have been better. Since we don't kayak much we usually don't take out much gear.
