If you didn't already know, I started my fitness journey a couple month ago. Earlier this year, I finally decided to sign up for a gym membership and ever since then I haven't looked back. I was lucky enough to have a small gym about 10 minutes walk away from my house. It's not a big place, but it has basic equipments like dumbbells and barbells, well enough to carter for my need. I am also lucky enough to have an hybrid work mode. I go to my place of work three times in week and work remotely the rest two days. I use the two days to hit the gym for a couple hours plus my Saturdays. It has been quite an adventure. I went from weak to strong, better cardio, muscle definitions and all round great place mentally.

I've recently being bombarded with ads of this pushup board all over social media with promises of everything I wish for. I have always had problems with doing pushups with my palms on the hard floor because of my wrist, so I figured getting a pushup board with handles wasn't a bad idea.
#### ABOUT

The push up board as the name implies is a board that helps you do push ups, a staple in every workout routine to help build upper body muscles. The push up board comes with two handles for form and also to place in different holes with the idea of targeting different muscle groups. The board is labelled with four colors, with each colors running from one hole to the order and each supposedly targeting different muscle groups.
##### PROS

- Affordable - the board is fairly cheap. I got it delivered to me for #17k. That's around $10. - Form - the board helps with form which is key for achieving results and avoiding injuries. - Targeting different muscle groups - With different positions of the holes, this actually does help target different muscle groups, as a wider hand works the chest/pectoralis and a narrower works the triceps brachii more. - Fun - it's fun looking device - Portability and accessibility - The board is foldable with the two handles able to be ejected and the board itself is able to be pulled apart for mobility. So you can do your pushups pretty much anywhere. - Motivation - I think having it laying around would definitely spur you to get up and get some reps in. It definitely does for me, lol ##### CONS

- Not all muscle groups as advertised - Pushups don't primarily target shoulders or your back muscles, albeit they have some involvement in the process. - Palm soreness - due to the handles being plastic, over use can cause your palms to hurt, thereby limiting how often you can use the board. ##### BOTTOM LINE
While it's not the tool that would completely transform your body as advertised, it is a nice addition to help you stay active even when you're away from the gym. With the board been easily accessible for me, I've been using it all through out the day. Fun stuff. Well guys, thank you for sticking around. Hopefully this post helps you decide if you want to get a push up board or not. Cheers.
