##### I am going to test out a new idea for a little set of posts. I hope you like it. Once again if you read over my post and give me some feedback about it you can win 500 DEC from me. It can be about one of my strategies or something else that catches your eye in the post. I am going to try to tell you about the best teams to use and give you some examples. I am hoping that some of the players enjoy this. Also if you are a newer player this might help you win a few more matches.

##### I am going to start out with Target Practice. Sniper is a powerful ability and when magic monsters with blast ability become very strong in this mode. They can hit 3 monsters in one attack. For this reason, you will see Water with Ruler of the Sea and Dragon with Golden Dragon a lot on the other side. You also might see Pirate archer. In general, this is why I like to put a monster with magic reflect in your second position. It can't be melee or they will not shot it. My top card for this is Lord Arianthus. He also has void and shield so he will take a lot of hits. Here is an example of that [setup](https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=ed5ccad38284cf87396a1a31a1dde66da7a5810c&ref=stever82). Another card that works well is Prismatic Energy. In a very high mana match, he can go in stop 3 allowing double magic reflect. One more thing you can risk in this mode is a weaker tank in spot one. All the monsters in the back row will not be hitting him. So you don't need the big armor or shielded tank. Someone that hits hard might be better. In lower mana matches it is best to put in guys with self-heal to avoid getting sniped too fast. Earth Elemental is a good card making the earth team a good for lower mana matches. In higher mana, if you have them dragon is best. After that Water and then Earth. Some people might like life but you will see a lot of magic attack so armor isn't as helpful. When picking your sniper cards you can go magic guys and blast guys if you want but someone that plays like me will beat you. Ranged guys that hit hard are a good way to counter this. Death can also be in used high mana matches. If you have the neutral cards to use in spot 2 you can use a lot of teams. If you don't have the cards I have talked about you want high hp and self-heal or void to keep that first targe of the snipers from dying. Speed is always important if you don't have a good card to take hits in stop 2. So keep that in mind. I think this is a lot but it is what I think about when making my team.

![UnProtected.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/stever82/rjCsD2do-UnProtected.png)

##### Unprotected is next. This one is a bit easier don't use a team that needs armor or has good cards with armor. The main teams to avoid this ruleset is Life and Water. Water does have some setups that you can try but just don't use the guys that would normally have armor. This mode can also weaker some of the fire guys that are good. I really like Earth or Death for this game mode. Both of the teams have good ranged cards with tanks that don't have armor so don't mind that it is gone. Mages are not as important in this mode so don't use them unless they have another ability that you want. The dragon team is also good to use if the mana cap is high. Ranged monsters tend to be strong in this ruleset so you will see them a lot. If you have a good card with headwinds might be time to use it. Here is a fight where the guy still used life. [This might have been a bot but he lost really bad](https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=d6fa92b40d59dd0dea285efe5f84983999d50a61&ref=stever82). I did go with some magic monsters that fight but both fit well into the mana amount for the match. You can use them but just know they won't be helping kill those armor users faster. Just stick to the main idea that should be obvious. Don't use mobs that normally have armor or have the protect ability.

![Siclenced Summoners.png](https://files.steempeak.com/file/steempeak/stever82/zSdUkWzz-Siclenced20Summoners.png)

##### Silenced Summoners is not a big deal to most teams. Yet a few do better with than most. If you have to have the Epic 2 cost beta summoners leveled up they are the best to use. But if you are like me and don't have them high enough yet then I like to use the team that doesn't get a buff from their summoner. That is Death. Death is the only team that has summoners that debuff the other team. Or at least that started like that. All the death monsters are made with stats not expecting a buff. To me, this makes the team a bit better for this match up. Earth would be the next one that I would say is best to use as one less HP isn't as big as not having armor, or more attack for the team. The only time I use anyone else if it is 99 mana then I pull out the dragons for the high mana cards. I still combo them with death [as I did here](https://splinterlands.com?p=battle&id=65b18ac6decb9c2f54e3f9c5afc99b2d2cd1a3ec&ref=stever82). This is how I fact this ruleset and I win a lot. You can still use life if you work around the mission armor and use guys that have it already. Or if you use someone with protect to give everyone armor. I just like to use death. It doesn't always work but it seems to win more often than losing.

##### Let me know if you like my idea to review the rulesets and give you my ideas of how to play them? Also, give me any feedback on what I have said. Sure some agree and others will think I am wrong. Another thing I would like to hear about is the length of the post. I could write more about how to win the fights but I feel that too much info is overkill. Just tell me if you would like a bit more in the future. Thanks for anyone that checks out the post and lets me know.
