I beg to differ. I beg to differ. I beg to differ. Please, let me free of this "normal," normative life. There is no such thing as normal. Weirdness is normal. It is normal to be different, to be varied, not not be uniform, to not be "standard." There is no standard. We're making this up as we go along. Goddamn Plato! Goddamn the freaking Greek philosophers and the freaking Christians and the freaking ruling class who try to force everyone into boxes to suit their desires! Goddamn colonizers! It doesn't have to be this way. We've been so set in these ways for awhile now, but short in the scheme of the planet. Let's fucking stop this wind-up toy before it explodes and tell a new story. It isn't so hard to do. What will it take for us to rise up en masse? We're not organized, it's true. And there are forces at play that would keep us disorganized and fragmented and at odds and it's sad, sad, sad, but we should not resign ourselves to this particular fate, this particular story. My god, it's harmful. And so very insidious. Language is culture. Culture is language. Language creates culture? Or culture creates language. One and the same?
