# A short proposal to make the rules more acceptable to [Utopian.io](utopian.io) users.

Utopian [rules](https://utopian.io/rules) allow us Moderators to ensure that we only accept quality content and use the tremendous power of our bot for those who deserve it the most. For users, it is a must to know these rules in order to avoid wasting the time to write a contribution that will not pass through moderation.

I get many private messages everyday from users needing help with their current contribution. They often want to make sure their topic fits the rules and are afraid to see their contribution refused.

For this, I find it useful to provide them with an example of a great contribution in this category. Learning by example is a great way to improve. Therefore, I would recommend that we Moderators compile a list of great contributions in each category and add a link to it in the rule of the corresponding category, like this:

To prove my point, one of our users just requested this feature to me while I was writing this:

Just need the approval from the boss and I'll start working on this.
