Hello everyone!

It has again been a long time since my last post but with summer creeping around the corner it felt like a good time to make one. Now I usually don't like to plan my summers too much and I prefer to just kinda go with it. This summer however I have made a few plans so I wanted to make a post where I share some of my own and of course ask you guys what kind of plans you have for the summer.

It's been kind of a weird spring so far and I was surprised to hear from friends that it was actually snowing in Finland just a week ago. It's kind of surprising since we are already half way through May. Let's just hope this doesn't mean we have a shorter summer this year but instead maybe it's just a little bit late.

As some of you may know I am in Malta at the moment and over here diving is big. The town I am living in now you can find a diving store every 100 meters when walking in the center. I've always liked the idea of diving even though the only real diving I have done myself was in a swimming pool at a maritime convention. You didn't really have too much room to move around but it kinda gave you the idea of how it feels to be in the water with the equipment and how it feels to breathe from a bottle. I really thought it was cool but knew that it was nothing compared to actually being underwater in the sea so that made me really want to try it properly some day. 

I have now checked with the different stores here to see which one would be best and I think I have found the one I want to go with. It's kinda pricey depending on if you want to do one of the courses right away or if you want to just try it out once. I think I will try it once just to see that everything is ok and I can actually do it. I have really mild claustrophobia and I've heard that can be an issue when diving so I want to be sure before I sign up for an actual course.

So that is one thing I am planning to do this summer and also one thing I am very excited about. They have dolphins and all kinds of fish here which will be cool to see. I think they also have blue sharks which sound a bit scary but in my opinion are the cutest shark ever if you look at pictures of one. They look kinda derpy, lol.

The other thing I have planned is to go to a shooting range. I found out one day when I was talking with someone that they have shooting ranges in the area here where you can go and try out different guns. I haven't shot anything since I was in the army and I really want to try soon again and see if I have any of my skills left. I was pretty good at it and it would be fun to try some different guns as well since all I got to shoot in the army was an assault rifle. Nothing wrong with the rifle just a little variation would be nice. 

I am not completely sure yet if you need some type of license to go there and shoot but I really hope not. If they do, I hope it's something I can do easily and doesn't cost too much.
