## Subscribe We Must, to YOUTUBE We Will
The other day I posted my first video. But it didn't work and was not easy. 
WHY??
Because I did not have a Youtube account.

If you have video anywhere else, your link will only show as hyperlink text. So if you do not have a Youtube account,  get one, because that is the only way I could find to make my video work on STEEMIT.COM 

So don't Go Caveman like me and get a Youtube Account.

Once you have an account on Youtube, and you upload your video to Youtube, then go to the video itself, and just copy the link and paste into STEEMIT.COM 
AND that is it. EASY.
I tried it with other sites, but the video would not load.
Now if you don't like the image in the beginning of the video, then you will have to do a "screen shot" of the video where you like and use that as your thumbnail image by posting the image first in your story. See this example of my first steemit video post - [Fashion Photo Shoot](https://steemit.com/steemit/@streetstyle/fashion-video-behind-the-scenes-short-clip) Notice How I put a picture first in the story and then the video. That's because I didn't like the way Youtube had the first image of the video, so I paused the video where I liked, screen shot, and then used that as the first pic.
