The Fork is Almost Over, or IS IT???

I won't bore you with the technical details, but if you are interested in them, you could read all about the Segwit Roadmap for Bitcoin [Here](https://segwit2x.github.io/segwit2x-announce.html). For now, in about an hour's time or so, the event that caused Bitcoin to fork will take effect after Block 481,824. This controversial soft fork is phase 1 of 2, with the second part yet to come in Novemeber of this year.

If all goes well, we should get a nice bump in price for Bitcoin after this change. I imagine there will be a "holding of the breath" period until there is the collective sigh of relief when everything shows to be working properly. At this point, hopefully the price of Bitcoin will climb.

We should also see a decline in Bitcoin Mining Difficulty by a small amount. From what I can tell, we should see a 3- 4% reduction from the current difficulty. Albeit small, this should help all Bitcoin miners with ROI, and could possibly drive more miners away from mining Bitcoin Cash, and back to Bitcoin.

The Saga continues for several more months.

To Bitmain, their owners, associates and other partners, I believe you sold yourselves short by creating Bitcoin Cash, even after agreeing not to. I believe your moves to be subversive, even to your own interests. Bitcoin would most likely have been over $5000 or even $6000 all by itself. This division has splintered the Bitcoin momentum, created factions amongst all Bitcoin supporters (from devs, miners and users), and worst of all created an air of uncertainty for the Bitcoin Network. This breakdown in Bitcoin support for the different versions has allowed the Alt-coin Market to BOOM, while taking big part of Bitcoin's Steem (excuse my pun, just had to throw it there).

Thoughts?? Comments?? Questions?? Suggestions??
