<center><h1>You Can Fake an "O" but Not a Bitcoin!</h1></center>
Most focus on the price of $25,000 per Bitcoin prediction made by the analyst Tom Lee of [Fundstrat.com](http://www.fundstrat.com/) while interviewed on CNBC's Fast Money. He has even called for a higher price of $55,000 Dollars per Bitcoin. His argument is pretty solid and is based on Bitcoin capturing 5% of the Gold Market in 5 years.

While this is great, especially if you are "hodling" Bitcoin, I believe the bigger value of Bitcoin is yet to be realized. As Tom Lee mentions in this interview, it takes $30 Billion Dollars to counterfeit 1 Bitcoin. To me, this is the overlooked trait that is what truly makes Bitcoin extremely valuable and maybe why some are calling for Bitcoin price to rise up to $1 Million Dollars.

When I first heard of Bitcoin and delved into understanding the mechanics of Bitcoin, it was the claim that it solved the [Byzantine General's Problem](http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~sschang/OS-Qual/reliability/byzantine.htm) that captivated me. The problem basically has to do with counterfeiting and being able to discern true from false. Since Bitcoin is peer to peer, and all Bitcoins and Bitcoin transactions are known to the network, then it would be virtually impossible to create a fraudulent Bitcoin transaction. For me, that is what set the light bulb on in my brain, as they say. That to me is what to this day makes Bitcoin Better than any other currency; it is virtually impossible and prohibitively expensive to Fake A Bitcoin.
