Long time no macro ...
So since we moved places last December i haven't really got a chance to use my ultra macro lens again .

For those of you that don't know what an ultra macro lens is : [Laowa ultra macro lens](https://www.venuslens.net/product/laowa-25mm-f-2-8-2-5-5x-ultra-macro-2/)

Some of the photos on that website are doen with stack photography , meaning they are build up from +/- 50 photos or more to get a complete sharp subject .

i'll just stick to the single shot photography for now .
two weeks ago i made a post on how i decorated my balcony :
https://ecency.com/hive-14396/@stresskiller/decorating-my-balcony

I'm glad that i can say that the plants are still alive and doing very well so far .

Today i will be using the Sony A7II camera and the Sigma105mm lens and also the Laowa 25mm ultramacro lens .

Ok let's start with the scabiosa flowers on the normal macro lens a side view

And a top view

The chocolate mint plant and the morocon mint plant are both doing very well,
the wife has already made several pots of tea from them.

The back side of a scabiosa flower

Sony A7II + Sigma 105mm

at first all the scabiosa flowers look the same , until you take a closer look .

Sony A7II + Sigma 105mm

these two look the same , and they are but how about the next one ?

Sony A7II + Sigma 105mm

Do you think this one is the same too ?

Sony A7II + Sigma 105mm

Have a good look ...

Ok time for the Ultra macro this image is from the flower above ,you can see the pollen

Sony A7II + Laowa 25mm Ultra Macro

And this is from that other Scabiosa flower also with pollen

Sony A7II + Laowa 25mm Ultra Macro

it actually looks like something from out of space

Sony A7II + Laowa 25mm Ultra Macro

And that is the fun part of ultra macro magnifications up to 5x , here you can even see a hair on the pollen

Sony A7II + Laowa 25mm Ultra Macro

And here you can even count the pollen , the only downside is the narrow DOF with ultra macro .

Sony A7II + Laowa 25mm Ultra Macro

And just when i wanted to go back inside i spotted this tinny thing on a spiderweb , first i thought it was a pray , but a closer look reveiled a itsy bitsy tinny spider .

Sony A7II + Laowa 25mm Ultra Macro

how small ? +/- 1mm high and no more then 3mm long , good luck with manual focus , cause with ultra macro there is no autofocus .

Sony A7II + Laowa 25mm Ultra Macro

The spider didn't like my flash light and ran for safety .. and this is also how i was able to measur the hight and length , the grey area on the left of the spider is 3mm

Not my best frontal of a spider but i didn't get another chance

After this image the spider ran away behind a closet i guess he / she wanted some privacy .
