5 Tips On Standing Tall And Building Self-Confidence 💪🏻💨
Hello Steemit Friends,

A sense of high self-confidence
makes us stand tall in all our daily endeavors, but a lack of it holds us back
from achieving what we earnestly seek in our lives. Without confidence, we are
left weak and frail, unable to face our fears. This
further restrains us from reaching our targets and attaining happiness in life.

**So, how can you overcome these fears and failures?**

Only by building the confidence you need to pull it through. :)

There's a saying "Once we
believe in ourselves, we can risk curiosity, wonder, spontaneous delight, or
any experience that reveals the human spirit.” Therefore, you can only attain the true meaning of life by
working on your self-esteem and self-confidence.

Before going into the basics of how you are going to effectively maintain your self-confidence, it’s
important to look into how the lack of it creeps in, so as not to lose it in
the first place.

# Causes of low self-esteem

Your self-esteem is simply
how you view or value yourself. When this evaluation is negative, we lose
interest in pursuing meaningful activities and instead enter a cycle of devaluating
ourselves and failing in what we had dreamt of achieving. The causes of this
pattern are varied and can sometimes be difficult
to identify.

"Confront
the dark parts of yourself,” to
know what brings down your self-esteem. You can’t expect to identify one cause
for everyone. Rather, causes depend on one’s situational factors and
may vary from one person to another.

However, there are common situations that can help you identify at
least a few causes in your life. The most frequent examples include negative
thought patterns, bad choices, unrealistic goals, trauma, negative peers,
negligent parents, and body image.

In
some cases, the source can be as simple as feeling swallowed up in a world beyond control, especially for teens. The
most important thing is to realize that
you are the one doing this self-evaluation. Whether it lasts for a minute or a
decade, you are the one setting the conditions.

So, how can you set
the right conditions, boost your self-confidence, and walk with your head high?

# How to take control of your self-confidence !!!

Once you begin having confidence in yourself, it
becomes easy to attain and keep up high levels of confidence. Below, we’ve
outlined five things that will elevate you to the level of confidence you
deserve:

# Believe in yourself

“Believe you can
and you're halfway there,” said Theodore Roosevelt. The very first step in the road to self-confidence involves
believing in yourself by pushing your discomfort, putting yourself out there,
sticking to good habits, and learning to trust yourself If you can’t believe in yourself, who will?

# Groom and dress nicely

Not like a clown
but smartly and neatly. Grooming and dressing nicely doesn’t necessarily mean sporting
a $500 outfit. Rather, it’s all about taking a shower, shaving, and dressing appropriately.
When you are nicely dressed, you feel presentable and ready to confront the
world.

# Think and act positive

Thinking positively
goes hand in hand with killing negative thoughts. It may seem tough at first,
but when you start embracing positivity even when you are not feeling like it,
you’ll be surprised at how much it works. Inject some enthusiasm into your
relationship, friendships, and all interactions with others.

# Plan, execute, and achieve

Learn to prepare
what you intend to do, then do it and appreciate your achievements. While you
plan, set realistic targets and live up to them. Achieving your aspiration, no matter how small they seem, will help
you feel good about yourself and attain the self-confidence that will propel
you to making bigger goals.

# Serve and be good to others

Be kind and
generous, and treat others in the same way you would like to be treated. Does
it sound so corny? If it does, take the risk.

# How to help those around you to attain self-confidence ?

Because self-confidence is infectious, self-confident people
inspire confidence in those around them. Therefore, next time you want to
inspire your downhearted buddy who has little or no sense of self-worth, try to
ask for their help, complement them, listen more and talk less, pay attention
to their words, recognize them, ask them for opinion, be interested in them,
and invite them to be part of a team which they normally wouldn’t be part of.

Above all, always remember Lao Tzu’s words “Because one
believes in oneself, one doesn't try to convince others. Because one is content
with oneself, one doesn't need others' approval. Because one accepts oneself,
the whole world accepts him or her.”

Before ending my post I want to share some of the memories from a Music Festival I attended last week. I love going to these events a couple of times a year to let lose and enjoy my youths.

Thank you so much for your supports

Much love ❤️
