I recently had the opportunity to take a look at the fourth part of **Kung Fu Panda**, a story that is part of the most iconic films of my adolescence, because I remember that when it was released, it was a complete success. With the passage of time and a new film, the story was refined, until it offered us a more complex plot, with endearing characters. After the third one, I didn't think they would dare to release a new part. But, I was wrong and today I will tell you what this new adventure of many people's favorite panda is about. <br>  <br> It all begins when a danger seems to lurk in the *Valley of Peace*, where **Po**, the Dragon Warrior, is in charge of not only maintaining order, but also granting joy and fun to his fans. In the middle of the inauguration of his parents' new restaurant, the teacher Shifu appears before Po to tell him that he wants to talk seriously with him. Once they are alone, the master tells Po that the time has come for his next step: Becoming the spiritual leader of the Valley of Peace, just as the master **Oogway** had once been. That news is disconcerting for the panda, because it means that he must look for his successor as Dragon Warrior, something he does not want to do, since he loves to use his skills in the art of Kung Fu to help those who love him. they need. <br>    <br> After escaping the election of his new successor and asking the universe for guidance, Po must stop a thief trying to steal from the Hall of Heroes. In the midst of that, he learns of the return of Tai Lung, who was supposed to have been sent to the spirit world, swearing revenge on the Dragon Warrior. As time goes by, I have realized that many stories that were quite good at the beginning become worn out as they try to get as much juice out of them as possible, and Kung Fu Panda is no exception to this rule. > > And it is not necessary to be such a fan of the saga to realize that the fourth part is an extension taken to not let the story die. > > The number of inconsistencies in the script is evident, starting with the fact that the protagonist is required to look for his successor and the next Dragon Warrior. I understand that you want to add a pupil for him to train, but it feels like Zhen's appearance is somewhat forced and her selection to occupy the position of future Dragon Warrior feels meaningless. > > In my opinion, the soundtrack was not that memorable, although the beauty of the settings must be highlighted, visually they are very attractive, as are the battle scenes. > > I thought the concept of the villain was very poorly worked, since the simple way in which she obtained the powers of the Kung Fu masters, and then did not use them properly when she faced Po, makes you think that Either he was blinded by the power and did not see it necessary or it was all a convenience of the script. > > Not to mention that there are inconsistencies in the plot compared to the previous films. > >Overall, I didn't think it was a bad movie. Hace poco tuve la oportunidad de darle un vistazo a la cuarta parte de **Kung Fu Panda**, una historia que forma parte de las películas más icónicas de mi adolescencia, pues recuerdo que en su estreno, fue todo un éxito. Con el pasar del tiempo y una nueva película, la historia se iba refinando, hasta ofrecernos una trama más compleja, con personajes entrañables. Luego de la tercera , no creí que se atreverían a sacar una nueva parte. Pero, me equivoqué y hoy les hablaré de que va ésta nueva aventura del panda favorito de muchos. <br>  <br> Todo comienza cuando un peligro parece acechar el *Valle de la Paz*, en donde **Po**, el Guerrero Dragon, se encarga no sólo de mantener el orden, sino también otorgar alegría y diversión a sus fanáticos. En medio de la inauguración del nuevo restaurante de sus padres, el maestro **Shifu** aparece ante Po para comentarle que desea hablar seriamente con él. Una vez que se encuentran solos, el maestro le comunica a Po, que ha llegado el momento de su siguiente paso: Convertirse en el líder espiritual del Valle de la Paz, así como una vez lo hubo sido el maestro **Oogway**. Aquella noticia es desconcertante para el panda, pues significa que debe buscar su sucesor como Guerrero Dragon, algo que no desea hacer, puesto que ama usar sus habilidades en el arte del Kung Fu para ayudar a los que lo necesitan. <br>    <br> Luego de zafarse de la elección de su nuevo sucesor y de pedir guía al universo, Po debe detener a una ladrona que intenta robar en el Salón de los Héroes. En medio de eso, se entera del regreso de **Tai Lung**, quién se supone que había sido enviado al mundo de los espíritus, jurando vengarse del Guerrero Dragón. Con los Cinco Furiosos fuera, debido a unas misiones individuales de cada uno, Po deberá enfrentar aquel extraño reto, averiguar qué es lo que está sucediendo y evitar que el mal arruine la paz del Valle y quizás, de toda China. <br>    <br> >! [Clickear para leer mi opinion sobre la pelicula] > > La verdad, no estaba para nada emocionada al enterarme de la existencia de ésta entrega. Con el pasar del tiempo, me he dado cuenta de que muchas historias que al principio eran bastante buenas, se van desgastando a medida que tratan de sacarle la mayor cantidad de jugo posible y Kung Fu Panda, no escapa a ésta regla. > > Y es que, no es necesario ser tan fanático de la saga como para darse cuenta de que la cuarta parte, se trata de una extensión sacada para no dejar morir la historia. > > La cantidad de incongruencias en el guion es evidente, comenzando por el hecho de que al protagonista, se le exige que busque a su sucesor y próximo Guerrero Dragón. Comprendo que se le quiera añadir un pupilo para el que entrene, pero se siente que la aparición de Zhen, es un tanto forzada y la selección de ella para ocupar el puesto de futuro Guerrero Dragón, se siente como un sin sentido. > > El soundtrack a mi parecer no fue tan memorable, aunque hay que realzar la belleza de los escenarios, visualmente son muy atractivos, al igual que las escenas de batallas. > > El concepto de la villana, me pareció que estuvo muy mal trabajado, ya que, el modo tan sencillo en el que obtuvo los poderes de los maestros del Kung Fu, para luego no usarlos adecuadamente cuando se enfrentó a Po, te hace pensar que o se cegó por el poder y no lo vio necesario o todo fue conveniencia del guion. > > Sin mencionar que hay incongruencias en la trama comparándolas con las anteriores películas. > > En general, no me pareció una mala película. Pude verla en su totalidad sin aburrirme, a diferencia de la secuela de Megamente. Pero no siendo fanática de la saga y mucho antes de ver las críticas, fui capaz de darme cuenta de los errores mencionados. Porque si se siente que ha perdido la chispa en comparación con la primera entrega. > > Disfruté mucho de la interacción de los padres de Po, me parecieron bastante tiernos y de lo poco salvable.
