Friends yesterday evening I reached Pune from Nagpur. Really happy to meet all the people in the house after two days. Friends yesterday is Angaraki Chaturthi so Lord Shri Ganesha is worshiped at our house yesterday. And in offering to Lord Shri Ganesha his favorite dish i.e. Modak prepared by mother at our house last night. After making the Modak, the first thing is to offer it to Lord Ganesha and then we all eat it.
So in today's blog I am going to give you brief information about how these modaks are made. One thing to tell friends Modaks are really delicious in taste. Modak is sweet in taste and its taste is really amazing we all love modak at home. Why am I going to tell you today how these modaks are made.

Friends, to make tu modak, first of all we have to take coconut. Modak is made from the wet coconut that comes out after peeling and cracking the coconut. So yesterday my father left my mother to remove the wet coconut from the coconut because as you all know friends it is really a tough job to remove the wet coconut from the coconut. After that, my mother crushed the wet coconut finely. 
After that mother put a pot on gas and after adding ghee in it, when it was hot, she added wet coconut flakes and started frying the coconuts. When it turns a little red, jaggery is added to it. And both are well mixed. Then add cardamom powder, cumin powder and cream to it and mix it well and then keep it to cool.
Until then, my mother kneaded wheat flour here and made it into a paste. And from it made honeycombs from that dough in the shape of small spheres. And most importantly, friends, I can see from the photo that my little daughter was also helping my mother a lot to make this.Really guys it was really nice to see my lovely daughter helping my mom and wife to make this modak with so much joy and enthusiasm and it made me laugh a lot because of the fun she was having while doing it, if you were actually there. So you couldn't hold back your smile either.

 And then the prepared hives are filled with the pre-mixed mixture. And all this made modak is kept in a pot and steamed.
After steaming for fifteen to twenty minutes, modaks are ready to eat. We did not eat it before it was first offered to Lord Shri Ganesha and then we all ate that modak. Modaks are really delicious when eaten hot. So friends, you must have really liked today's recipe that I have told you.
