I don’t know how many people still take advantage of their local library. But you should, because they are expanding their services and offerings, and they are aweeeeeesome.
So far, I’ve been able to
-reserve a book and just go straight in and pick it up off the shelf. No need to hunt, they sent me an email and I picked it up.
-use the computers, including a laptop, to print. They also offer a ton of programs for free, such as excel or photoshop.
-they have databases! I can do research for free!
-Rosetta Stone for free! They offer all levels in a ton of languages. I’m working on my Spanish (which is horrendous). This program was $300 for one level last I had checked. and the library has it all. For free.
-crafting and tech classes and fitness classes, all for free. I’m super tempted to go to their meditation or tai chi offerings or a painting class... it all sounds so cool!
If you have kids of any age...
-they have sign language classes and book readings and clubs...
I don’t have any kids but for real I would take them to the library all the time.

The Denver library also has a free 3D printer! Say whhhhhhhat?

Get to your local library and see what they are offering!
