My approach is largely the same - just go with it, flow, and don't overthink! Now, I try a little more staccato playing with some more rhythm here and there. But, as always I am just going with the flow, and there is no better track to crank in some blues rock licks! If you think of Psychedelic rock, which band comes to mind? I guess I think of Pink Floyd. David Gilmour is such a legendary guitarist, the sound of his strat just stays with me. I love passionate guitar solos, when you can feel it and see the emotion. I think that is also why Gary Moore is my favourite guitarist. I love legends like Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, but as brilliant as they are, I have always prefered the soulful blues style for solos. I do love Slash too, and Paul Gilbert!
