<html> <p>So a day ago, i got a notification from @steemitboard that '@surpassinggoogle' has made some 17000 comments. </p> <p><img src="https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/609973632604831754/622638680938643476/unknown.png" width="728" height="379"/></p> <p><br></p> <p>This is such a feat and may show my love for steem on the one hand but perhaps, more importantly, shows my love for fellow humans and is evidence/significance of the words "your boy Terry".</p> <p>Even on my <a href="https://ulogs.org/introduceyourself/@surpassinggoogle/while-novice-i-used-the-introduceyourself-tag-without-introducing-myself-forgive-me-this-is-my-introduction">first times on steem</a>, i saw many beautiful things on here. I saw the tech, the 'bulls and bears' but i paid utmost attention to the 'humans' on steem. Steem was CCTV into the truest state of the world. </p> <p>In the art of curation, i would curate 'the human' too. </p> <p>'Reward-distribution via curation' to me was secondary. Curation was a means to be 'your boy terry' to someone. I put my spirit, being and prayer into that simple-looking vote. I truly cared. </p> <p>Curation was an art and according to me, had to be timely (at times) to have more testimonial essence. It had to carry power more than just things of the physical (e.g steem power).</p> <p>My simple votes also carried a prayer and comment was likely to accompany a vote because i cared. Quality content was secondary. The evolution of the human (real human growth) within their content, was primary. This way generations yet born, will know that we were here. This way the steem blockchain would stand out. This way the steem blockchain would long-last.</p> <p>My curation efforts was directional, intending to 'play out an entire curriculum' and a timely comment complimented it. Besides, just upvoting content, curation for me, could involve commenting, resteeming, sharing to other steem-power holders behind-the-scenes etc My curation was me, my very presence appealing to your soft-spot, appealing to the person of you. Curation was one more means to help someone shine.</p> <p>Commenting was also one of my ways for growing steem. Whether this was successful or not, i had used the 'art of commenting' with the intention of strengthening the steem community as i believed that steem-growth should happen inside-out.
