No one expected the new E-Soul’s entire creation and development to be so meticulously orchestrated. They wanted him to become a hero, but also to break him—to strip away his emotions, leave him alone without friends or potential partners, utterly at the puppet master’s mercy. Worse still, there was already malice in his heart: he refused to save his friend out of jealousy, even though his super-speed ability made it possible.  

The new E-Soul manages to enter the tower, but he has no free will. He’ll likely remain a pawn, carrying out his "manager’s" Machiavellian missions. It’s rather tragic—he had the makings of a noble hero, but deception clouded his judgment. And perhaps killing Moon was all part of the puppet master’s plan: to make Ling Ling feel what the new E-Soul once felt, with E-Soul now the one pulling the trigger.
