De todas las tareas escolares post-cuarentena, yo diría que ésta fue la que más le costó trabajo a mi hijita. Ella está en 6to grado y en esta ocasión, tenía que investigar los movimientos de las piezas del ajedrez y construir uno con material de provecho.

Ella es muy aplicada y se enfoca en cada una de sus asignaciones, y ha sido así desde pequeñita. La recuerdo cuando vivíamos en Lechería, caminando detrás de mí con su cuaderno para que la ayudara con sus tareas. Como yo siempre estaba muy atareada, la sentaba en el desayunador y mientras yo cocinaba, ella iba haciendo sus tareas. La admiro tanto...

Bueno, continuando con esta tarea, a continuación hizo los 32 círculos que necesitaría para las piezas del ajedrez, tanto en la cartulina de la carpeta manila, como en las hojas blancas, su idea desde el principio fue hacer las figuras en los círculos de papel y luego pegarlos en la cartulina, pero también se pueden dibujar directamente en los círculos de cartulina.

Ella dibujó los peones, entonces me pidió que la ayudara a dibujar las demás figuras. Los peones son los que tienen mayor número de piezas, cuando me puse a dibujar las otras, que eran menos, me di cuenta del duro trabajo que ella había realizado 😅.

Cuando la estaba ayudando con las últimas piezas, yo pensaba: tanto tiempo invertido en hacer este ajedrez y nosotros tenemos dos de ellos. Sin embargo entiendo que el propósito del programa escolar seguramente es crear en ellos destrezas y habilidades para resolver aprovechando todos los recursos.
