I like the idea of being able to acknowledge and support good content beyond the 7 days.  I have found older posts which I enjoyed and would have upvoted, but since my votes are limited, I use them where they can actually reward the author.  I am intrigued about SMTs but to be honest don't completely understand how they will work completely.  I look forward to learning more.
