Hi Steemit, I'm here to share some hidden knowledge with you, and hopefully learn more in the process!
Hello Steemians!

I've recently become obsessed with the idea of blockchain technology and when I heard that it was being used for generating wealth out of actual creativity rather than out of debt based ponzi schemes I got really excited. Excited at the concept in general, as well as excited at the opportunity to participate and share some things I've learned with a self-empowering online community. So here I am!

A little about me, I'm a film-maker, story-teller and multi-disciplinary artist, and as such I like to look for inspiration everywhere. I believe that everyone, but especially creatively leaning people, should expand the limits of their experience as much as possible. Other people will always try to put limits on what you can and can't do, what you should and shouldn't explore and what is possible to be known, but the reality is that no one knows what's going on with this whole being alive stuff. This universe we all live in is a mystery, and whatever anyone might say to the contrary, it is up to each of us to navigate our own path through it. There's no rules or instruction manuals except for ones made up by people pretending they know what's going on, but even if some smart people figured some things out and wrote them down, they have zero authority on what's going on inside of you, so it's your own responsibility to decide what you think, what you feel and what you put your energy towards.

Now that being said, there's a lot of smart people who have discovered some very interesting things about life! And we've all heard of the famous ones. But, if you approach their ideas and information with the attitude that you are the highest authority on whether you think they are valid or not without simply assuming that Einstein or Buddha or Jesus had it all figured out, you may discover things you never saw before, or see things you thought you understood in a brand new light. In my experience, approaching the world in this way leads to insights and understanding that will make you amaze yourself with the possibilities of what your mind and body to can.

There's a lot of subjects I'm planning to write articles about here, but the basic theme really boils down to occult knowledge. Occult simply means hidden, but the funny thing about "occult" knowledge is that it's not actually hidden anymore! Now that we have the internet, information that was kept secret in mystery schools and private libraries for hundreds, maybe thousands of years is now out in the open for everyone to see. But the irony is that now there is such an overwhelming flood of trivial information that most people don't stop to dig deeper and the real juicy stuff remains essentially hidden. And without a cultural context, even valuable information that does surface to the mainstream often gets dismissed or misrepresented because it requires a depth of understanding that most people don't have the patience for.

I could share some specifics on the subjects I'm going to be discussing, but I'll let you read my articles to find that out. ;) Basically my goal is to share with you some things I've learned that you never heard about in school, and hopefully get some of you excited enough about it that you go out and make your own discoveries and then come back and share them with me! I love to teach what I know, but the best teachers never stop being students, and this platform seems like it's going to be a great classroom, so... get hyped!
