I don't have much time right now, but I still want to participate a little with you in our community.

 I noticed that the handles of my backpack that I knitted were very stretched. So I decided to fix them - unravel and crochet again.

I realized that the handles were stretched as I crochet them along the entire length. So I decided to crochet them differently this time.

This is a very easy job - I used full crochet.

I love similar knitting and crochet. I call it background because while I work, I can chat with friends and family or watch something.

I quickly finished work on the first handle of the backpack and moved on to the second.

I also finished the second handle of the backpack quickly. I have now moved on to the second part of my project: sewing on the lining.

The lining makes the handles more stable and durable. From my stock of the rest of the fabrics, I chose the blue fabric. I didn't have yellow fabric. And since the backpack itself is bright and multi-colored, I decided that the blue lining fabric would be quite suitable for this.

My task is to cut the fabric to the length and width I need, taking into account a slight hem on the sides of the backpack handles.

I did this part of the work by hand.

The lining took me a lot longer than the crochet itself. But I had nowhere to hurry and now my backpack handles are ready.

Last the stage of work is to sew the handles to the backpack. This is what I don't like at all. The fact is that I did not remove the lining of the backpack itself (it would take too much time and effort), but tried to sew it on so that the handles held tightly only to the knitted part of the backpack but were not sewn to the lining of the backpack.

I chose pieces of denim for this. It seemed to me more suitable because the jeans are quite dense fabric. 
Finally, this part of the work is over. Here is my backpack with updated handles.
