I had the same dilemma as you. I wanted to invest my money in a "passive income" business but I couldn't risk all of my savings on something so...well, risky. So, I stuck to my job. I also had the same plans. Buy a laptop and find ways to earn online. 

But when I finally had the courage to invest my money/savings, I chose a Pisonet business model. The risk was there. The connection was crappy and the pandemic happened. But it turned out okay. Kids were having online classes and the pisonet was a hit! We used the profit to add more units too! Call us lucky, but I'm glad we took the leap and started the business.
