Hurry, get inside! You're letting all the heat out! It was a very frigid day on the homestead, -22°C with a wind chill factor that took it to -26°C, when I went out for my daily round of chores. There was a blanket of fog during the night too, though it had burnt off by the time I went out. Sounds like yuck, right But oh, this cold can be so beautiful.  Everywhere, everything, is wrapped in white.  The most mundane things turn magical.  Even the barn is beautiful, reflecting the cotton candy sky.  A fancy fence post, ready for close-up.  This is why I live where I can't feel my face. Also my stuff is here and I despise packing. *phew* Keep it together, tangle. The rest of today was spent keeping warm, catching up on housework, and rearranging my older daughter's bedroom. I also took my toddler for picture retakes, but again, no dice, she's suddenly afraid of being a model. 😠 I did manage to get her to sit for just my camera phone, so I guess that will have to do for family pictures this year.  I also picked up some plumbing fittings I will need for installing my UV water treatment system. I am getting quite excited for that little adventure, stay tuned for more details! No sheep pictures today. I was too caught up by the hoar frost to remember to take their daily snap. I'll post two tomorrow, promise! Thanks again for stopping in, neighbor.
