<div class="text-justify"> The majestic state of the lying Buddha is so amazing here on the first floor of the Usnisa Palace! One of the most iconic artworks there I have seen. The main underground hall of the USNISA PALACE is so beautiful to explore! The aesthetic view of the main hall! Abandoned area of the place which seems so attractive! The whole premise of the Floding temple and the Usnisa palace! Infront of the Usnisa Palace! The leaving time was also a scenic world there! Hello the beautiful people of the Hive universe, I want to cordially welcome you to the second and the last part of my visit to the Niushoushan Cultural Tourism Zone in Nanjing city of China which is a Buddhism-based temple and an amazing place of beauty and cultural hub for tourists from all over China. Before going ahead I request you to read the previous part of the place which will give you a comprehensive idea and guidelines to explore the place. The first part of this blog can be read here - [The most beautiful Buddhism-based Temple Area I have seen with 5A rating: Niushoushan](https://hive.blog/hive-163772/@tanzil2024/the-most-beautiful-buddhism-based). Before entering the next phase of my visit I want to recall you of the ending part of my last visit which was the temple adjacent to the empty place with grass covered and a blue-sky view. I am also sharing the map from the previous part to grab the total view of the place. Today I will just start from the outside of the temple to the way to climb the mountain for the Foding temple and the **lying Buddha zone known as the Usnisa Palace (佛顶宫) complex on Niushou mountain where the relics from Buddha are preserved.** After the space with a grass cover field, it is time to climb up towards the other sections of this area. The good thing is that most of the climbing path is rebuilt with concrete stairs, making it a little bit easier to climb. This upper picture shows the back view of the open space; I have already visited the left temple. The first area we are crossing is the forest area; one section is only the bamboo. Bamboo is very common in China and it has limitless use cases here in day-to-day life from chopsticks to cuisine materials! After crossing the bamboo area, the real wild forests area starts but the bitter winter has made the forest colorless. Very few trees have leaves and the natural beauty of nature. An interesting fact about most of the temples in China are located in the mountains which sometimes makes me feel how they are built in such difficult places. Maintaining their living must be difficult in such an isolated and mountains surrounded area. Whatever the surrounding is attractive things are everywhere if you have the heart that feels like flying to see some beautiful places in front of the sea or the forest or in the busiest city life. And this place is very near to the city and here you can get the feeling of being in the wild for a period until reaching the top of the mountains to explore the later attractive parts here. After almost 30 minutes of walking and taking some pictures of the surrounding, we are still in the mid of our way. And we have seen some resting places by the way and some public toilets which are perfectly clean for serving the tourists. We didn't take a rest but used the toilets which were with some good outlook with the decoration with bamboo and wood with the concrete infrastructure! Here we have seen some native tourists on the road after a long walk without anybody surrounding us. it seems maybe we are near to our 5th attraction and the first one for today's part. Oh, I forgot to tell you about some monk statues that were newly built by the roadsides which we have noticed and those are representing some different activities or movements with special meanings which I don't know! These statues are not the Buddha so I didn't try to learn more about them but they have made the way more beautiful and making forget your feeling of tiredness while climbing the mountain. <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> After another 10 minutes of climbing through the forests, we came to stepper stairs which is the next step to finding a new place to explore. Here we noticed that we were walking a little bit unpopular way without the buses and the conventional way to come here. I have also seen some other ways of moving to the top of the mountains but the direction was not guiding us to move through that way. I have also seen a mid-aged Chines guy who was full of stamina and going down this way which needs a lot of stamina. <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> And finally, we reached our 5th spot which is an inscribed Buddha statue on the stony mountain it was very old and some parts have been decaying for a long time surrounding the main sculpture. We have also seen some very old statues on the adjacent wall and a group of statues. Also, there were some written words in other or ancient languages I don't know. And my friend told me that he has come here 4 times but never come to this place that's why we were walking in a less common way which is a bit tiring way. <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> And finally, I and my friend reached our 6th spot which is the last one before the main attraction of the Niushoushan known as the Usnisa palace, and the Foding temple which is the highest I have ever seen in China. And I think it is one of the tallest all over China as it is in the top 3 among all the Buddhism tem0ple in China. This place is in the upper area of the Foding temple and the Usnisa palace area. And the smaller tall temple is also a great place for taking photos here before going to the final destination. <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> After a couple of minutes at the top, we moved towards the huge area where the Foding temple and the Usnisa palace are sides by side. After coming here we see that thousands of visitors are here and this is the main attraction of this place. All the way we have seen the sideways and the other beauties before entering the main attraction. From these huge premises, everything is so amazing and the huge Foding temple is an amazing-looking tower. It is afternoon and the days are smaller and the sun will go away sooner so we need to cover these two places especially the Usnisa palace is the main place to satisfy your eyes. We have taken several pictures here to see the surrounding view and all these amazing structural views separately. All of the clicks here are amazing. And can say this premise is a photography heaven without any doubt! Without wasting too much time we entered the palace to see the huge lying buddha and the tree under which he did his meditation and got the knowledge. Also, there were some amazing views of the buildings with beautiful decorations everywhere. I have seen a lot of art which is so big that I can't capture it with my mobile camera! But they look gorgeous everywhere and from every angle. <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> After exploring the first floor we will go down to 6 6th floor underground to see the main palace hall. So we came out of the first floor and notice the decoration and the amazing surrounding area. For easier entrance, we got the escalator up to the deepest level from the first floor which is very convenient! <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> And finally, we reached the main palace hall with the golden color everywhere! Everywhere I can see the Buddha as the decoration was flawless and you can see the beauty only nothing else there! <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> And finally, we have come to the best place where a 360-degree statue is placed which is so long and so beautiful as the decoration is so beautiful with the golden colors everywhere. I don't know the name of the statute but from the 4 directions you can pray to Buddha as on top there is Buddha on all 4 sides. Also, the hall is rounded like a sphere and there are thousands of Buddha statues on the wall everywhere they are so high that often I could not get good photos of them. **It is like a maze of infinity beauty!** One statue is more beautiful than the other and you can't find the best one! <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> After watching the surrounding the main hall, this palace contains so many things to explore we wanted to explore the main hall from the upper level like the 3rd floor and we have seen hundreds of beautiful statues everywhere of the palace. This place reminds me of a place in Bangladesh where 101 'Devta' (GOD in HINDUISM) are prepared in place and I have visited that place containing so many beautiful statues. But, here I have seen more than anywhere! <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> And then we come to the upper level from where the main hall looked more beautiful and the lights were more attractive from here. We spent several minutes here exploring the beautiful statues on the wall and I asked him to about some statues that seem from his religion as he is a Hindu and I am a Muslim, so he knows better related to his religion. <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> After spending more than 1 and half hours we went out from that place and it was amazing that the exit way was also full of beauty! We have seen an abandoned area of this place opposite side where we have seen many inscribed Buddhas and many statues in the mountains! And after visiting the palace we entered the Folding temple which was the closing time as it is almost 5 pm. We have seen some statues there the same as we have seen in the last blog's last temple. But this temple is so tall and can be noticed from a far place. And we want to see the evening lighting scenario here today. <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> And finally, we finished our tour of Niushoushan temple for today, though there are still many places to visit here the day is over and tomorrow I had to return to Beijing, so this is more than enough for one day trip with enormous memory and the feelings of some of the most beautiful scenes today as a lifelong story! Still, we get the fresh air and have taken some early late afternoon photos with the golden ray of the sun. And the surrounding view was amazing from there. After taking those pictures we were told to leave the premise as it is almost starting to dark and it is also a long way to return to the gate from where we enter as our electric bike was parked there. So, we take some more photos of sun sets and started going down toward the gate. <div class="pull-right"> </div> <div class="pull-left"> </div> Have taken some more clicks during going down from the area....
