What a week for Dash!

First the privacy-oriented cryptocurrency breaks $10 in the markets, indicating it is gaining more and more confidence from investors, and then two third party services announce that they will be integrating Dash either now or very shortly! This is great news for early investors in Dash, and signs that the crypto is legit, and is getting backing in its goal to become "digital cash".

Dash's developers have been hard at work laying the groundwork for what will be a paradigm shift in the way cryptocurrencies are used. The network is preparing for a shift to a system based on a decentralized API, which will allow the currency to offer a centralized-style UI, while retaining all of the traits of a decentralized currency. I will detail it more in a future blog, but Dash's masternode network (second tier) makes this possible.

Third party services, however, are not wasting their time to join the Dash ecosystem.

The first announcement came from Jaxx Wallet, which is a multi-currency wallet with a presence on 9 platforms. They will be integrating Dash this week if all goes well.

The second integration announcement came from BlockPay, who has an ambitious plan to offer merchants the ability to accept cryprocurrencies such as Dash for free. This could be the killer app that crypto has been looking for, and I will be closely following its progress.

Dash is digital cash.
