# Of the Uninspired

---

*Beyond the light you stayed, 
and in the shadows strayed.
Always a whisker from reach, 
Over worn and loosely frayed.*

*Sheen on skin would glow,
and life would ebb and flow.
Your fire would start hearts,
But little did they know.*

*For on the breeze you flew,
and over mountains blew.
Along the streams unknown,
To all excepting you.* 

*Through the streets the chase, 
and across the skies a race.
The sparks followed the flame,
Burned dark across their face.*

*Will you ever grow too tired,
and let them have life unfired.
Will you stop the games you play,
That leave them all inspired.*

*Why end when I am so near,
and take what they want to hear.
When I can instead provide,
Giving them all they fear.*
