I often write about the Age of Abundance and how humanity is starting to enter into it. 

This is based upon analysis of many different layers of our world, including some things that get into the esoteric realm.  The bottom line is we are seeing many shifts taking place with technology making up a large part of it.

Blockchain and cryptocurrency are going to change the world.  These two technologies are going to usher in abundance for all of humanity.  This is something I touched upon numerous times.  When coupled with some of the technologies being created, we will see an explosion in the productivity of the planet with the fortunes being shared in by the masses.  

In short, we will see a complete reversal of the present system we are in.

There was an article I just read which supports this idea.  It was based upon statements by a guy a great deal smarter than myself.  He is a pioneer in this industry yet sees a similar path as I do.

Joseph Lubin is one of the co-founders of Ethereum.  He recently opined about the future of blockchain and the global economy.  It is interesting to note what he said.

>...he expects the global economy will be 10 times larger in 10 to 20 years, when blockchain is fully ramified, and blockchain will be involved in most of it.

Think about that for a second.  

To start, he thinks the global economy will be 10 times larger in 10-20 years than it is now.  We presently have around an $80T global economy.  Thus, he foresees the economy being $800 trillion at some point in the 2030s.  

Note that he is not talking about the growth rate of some emerging market.  He is referring to the entire global economy.  This is simply astounding for most to comprehend.

The second point of interest is that he expects blockchain to be involved in most of it.  Here again we see some numbers that get really funky.  If most is 60%, that means his expectation is roughly $500T worth taking place on blockchain.  That is more than 6 times the present economy of the entire world.  

This is not the first time Lubin is stated an optimistic position about where he feels the blockchain world is going and the impact upon society.  Back in November, he told the NY Times that society will go “from a scarcity to an abundance mindset,” 

He went on to say:

>“We are going to to be more in control of our identity and our agency on these different decentralized networks and I think that’s going to create more wealth [...] more interest in expressing ourselves, and I think there will be more appetite for luxury than less.”

I feel it important for all to realize that we are embarking upon the greatest creation of wealth the world ever saw.  We are living in a time when a number of powerful technologies are converging which will increase the power of creation exponentially.  At the same time, decentralized systems such as blockchain are going to shift the power from governments and mega-corporations back into the hands of individuals.  This is going to spark a creative revolution never seen before.

The shift since 2012 is showing how this is all in accordance with where things are going.  As we enter a new sphere of energy, we are seeing the disruption of the established system.  That which was based in scarcity is now starting to be replaced with abundance.  It is a process that started a few decades back with the introduction of the Internet and continues today.

Now, with the ability to monetize these decentralized networks, we are about to see another blast off on this journey.  The world is going digital which means demonetization along with abundance.

Personally, I feel that we all can be very grateful that we are involved in this at this time.  If Lubin is correct, this industry is going to get a lot bigger over the next decade.

The Age of Abundance is upon us.
