Leomarkettalk was established about 2.5 years ago to help stimulate engagement on [Leofinance](leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-what-is-leofinance).  It was based upon the idea of microblogging and set up as a temporary measure while waiting for Leofinance to create the new [application](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-application).

Little did we know that it would be more than two years before we saw something brought to market.

That said, we are now Threading on a daily basis.  At the same time, we have the UI being reworked so that it will be a focus.  These are all positive steps.

Over the years, Leomarkettalk did fill the role.  There were times we got hundreds of comments per day.  Thus, it served its purpose.

Since the introduction of LeoThreads, naturally activity there died down.  It is to the point where I didnt even post the blogs most days (over the past month).  During that time, I was thinking what can we do with it?

### Leomarkettalk

This is a community account.  

The proceeds of the account were going to fill the [liquidity pool](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-liquidity-pool-lp) on [Polycub](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-polycub).  This is something that suffered its own setback although will be getting some attention over the next couple months.

Hence, perhaps it is a good time to rethink Leomarkettalk and how it can become a useful part of Leofinance.

Obviously, I am open to ideas.  One thing that caught might imagination is the fact that LeoGlossary is becoming such a focus.  How about merging the two concepts?

### A LeoGlossary Comment Section

The idea is to make Leomarkettalk a respository for communication for [LeoGlossary](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-main-menu).  By this I mean utilizing the comment section for the information that is needed.

For example, users can post terms or concepts they would like to be added to LeoGlossary.  There are many who post about different topics and we all have words that we tend to gravitate towards.  Therefore, perhaps having a place where someone can drop a **"please add _____ to LeoGlossary"** would be helpful.

At the same time, I can post new terms that either are created, or more importantly, get updated.

A case in point was last night.  I spent a number of hours on terms such as [cryptocurrency](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/cryptocurrency), [3Speak](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-3speak-hive), and [currency](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-currency), adding significant amounts to the pages.  This makes the information more robust along with additional links on the pages.

This is a place where that information can be posted, alerting people to the idea of, perhaps, working those terms into what they are posting.

Of course, if a request is made, and met, then the link could be dropped as a comment to that individual.

This is a way to keep people up to date.

Another example is [YouTube](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-youtube) and [Twitter](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-twitter).  Did you know these two pages were added in the last few weeks?  These are words that we see regularly on Leofinance and now there are pages to them.

Couple this with the [Elon Musk](https://leofinance.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-elon-musk) page and we cover ever third post on Leofinance these days.
